About Andrew:

Andrew is currently a Science & Technology Policy Fellow with the National Science Foundation. Prior to moving to D.C., he was a scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where the use of math, physics, and chemistry was an everyday tool. As a graduate teaching assistant, he worked closely with students to teach them complex chemical engineering concepts. Additionally, Andrew has more than 2 years of experience as a volunteer STEM instructor at San Quentin State Prison in California and with the D.C. Jail. Andrew has been a tutor with Tutoring for Success since 2024.

Fun Fact about Andrew:

Andrew is an avid pie baker (pumpkin and pecan pies are real strengths) and he is learning to play guitar.
