About Suresh

Suresh has been a tutor with Tutoring For Success for 16 years, and our students love him as much as we do. He appreciates the independence, creativity, and freedom to work with a broad range of students.

Growing up in India, he says, “I constantly read, practiced and played the violin, cricket, football (soccer) and was involved in track and field.” Suresh grew up with the mantra “Do what you love and love what you do,” and this has served him well as a tutor. Growing up in the age before computers, cell phones, and television, his childhood revolved around his family and friends. His parents placed emphasis on excellence, happiness, and the love of learning. He brings those principles into his tutoring, nudging his students to go above and beyond, all the while emphasizing that school is fun and learning is serious fun.

Suresh’s tutoring style places great emphasis on the concepts of a subject, followed by reinforcing the concepts by working the problems. From here, he relies on repetitive learning to master the fundamentals. “I let my students know that we should realize our limitations and capabilities and try transforming those limitations into capabilities to be successful.”
