About Yuri

Yuri has been tutoring with Tutoring For Success since 2016. He is a school librarian at a DC public school and a certified Spanish teacher for grades K-12. As a native Spanish speaker, Yuri is an excellent tutor to help with Spanish conversation, using correct pronunciation. Yuri has a relaxed and encouraging approach to tutoring, incorporating practical communication, grammar, and multicultural content. Yuri enjoys tutoring and working with Tutoring For Success because “I love seeing my students connect with the Spanish language and have fun classes.

Fun fact about Yuri: In addition to his work as a librarian and tutor, he is owner/operator of Fluffy Books Online, a multicultural bookstore.
